Ever had difficulty getting the thermostat bypass pipe gasket to seal under the thermostat  housing, we have been making a small horseshoe plate for some time, we have now made a laser cut version which helps keep the plate / ears flat, this is just over 3mm thick & then plated.

Just delete the flat washers from the studs & fit the nuts.

We also make gaskets for the bypass, thermostat housing to head & thermostat housing to water connection or pigs snout and a great many other gaskets.
