3rd gear matched pairs (mainshaft & layshaft), made to original David Brown drawing's.

This has been one of the weak points of the David Brown S430 gearbox as fitted to the DB2, 2/4 & MkIII, most of the engines push out more torque than they did when new.

These gears are made of a superior material than the original EN 36.

We supply just the gears with 8 rivets + a couple of spares, eventually we will supply 3rd gear for the mainshaft with a new synchro cone riveted to it or loose, if we rivet the cone on there will be a small charge.
