Side entry distributor cap, DB2 to MkIII, this is the original type fitted by AML, leads are held in by small screws inside the cap.

The AML cap has the leads exiting away from the engine & exiting the same side as the micrometer adjustment & vacuum capsule, -   the other cap like this type, fitted to Jags & other cars, has the leads exiting the opposite side to the micrometer adjustment & vacuum capsule.
