54359 Reconditioned Overdrive Mainshaft For Std Ratio Gearbox, this mainshaft is cracktested, checked for straightness, re-coppered & finish ground to your 2nd & 3rd gear internal bore dimensions with the correct clearances.

The troublesome circlip is deleted (it jumps off wrecking the gearbox), a thread cut on the shaft & a special nut made to suit, at least 10 gearboxes have been reconditioned using this system, some new mainshafts & some original.

This shaft uses the original size & type of centre bearing, this is available new at an extra cost.

The centre bearing surface is checked & reground if required, then a new centre bearing is supplied to suit the new size - Note: there is an extra charge for this extra work.
