VB6 series new Top Timing Chain Tensioner complete, this replaces the early 104 link tensioner / long chain arrangement fitted to DB2 & LAGONDA 2.6 ltr engines, this long chain makes the engine rather 'thrashy & noisy' when accelerating.

It updates the top chain arrangement to the later 2.6ltr & 3 ltr engines which were considerably quieter, note: no Aston or Lagonda 2.6 ltr engine should be built with the early long chain arrangement as failure will damage the engine. 

We have used the 30 + since 2010

It is a direct replacement for later 2.6 & , 3ltr (not MkIII) engines,

Consists of the parts listed above, these parts are also available in individual parts to replace worn components.

Requires new 84 link top chain if used on early engines with top idler, which you discard.

New bottom chain tensioner also available, these are fitted to all VB6 series engines.
