The cooling system of a V8 is adequate if in good condition, the main thing to keep an eye on is the condition of the water pump, they get noisy and have a lot of play in them or they just have a lot of play in them, then they leak.

Radiator's are also a problem with the inside of the metal 'tubes' becoming 'furred' up with dirt, this doesn't allow heat transfer from coolant to tube then tube to air, the rad becoming less effective, flushing the radiator doesnt work.

The only way round this is to fit a new core in your radiator or fit an alloy radiator, both can be supplied.

The original style radiator from our exchange 'pool' of radiators - assuming your radiator is capable of being reconditioned.

Alloy radiators are made to order.
