DB2's were originally equipped with 2 x 1.5" H4 SU carburettors, mounted on a 'log' type inlet manifold.

This inlet manifold works very well in reality, it doesn't need much alteration so dont try to shape it, treat it as a plenum with one intake & 3 runners feeding the ports, we have had 200bhp easily on a 3tr engine from these with the original carbs with just rebuild kits fitted.

The DB2 Vantage was equipped with 2 x 1.75" H6 carbs with a slightly modified std inlet manifold, a small revision to the carb mounting flange from 2 bolt to 4 bolt fixing.

This later inlet manifold was used until the end of the VB6 engine series production run with the DB2/4 MkII

Some cars were fitted with a Service Dept Triple SU inlet manifold & Carbs, these were to special order & are quite rare.

Even rarer were the Weber 35 DCO 3 inlet manifold & carbs, again fitted by the Service Dept
